Sadell’s Bio

Sadell BradleySadell Bradley is a native of Philadelphia, PA. Adopted by a local school teacher, she attended Friends Quaker schools and graduated from The University of Pennsylvania. Sadell has served in various music ministries since the age of 3, including ministry with the Carol Antrom Ensemble, Youth President of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses, and touring with Christian Contemporary Artist Michael Card.

Sadell moved to Cincinnati, Ohio after college and followed the call to ministry in 1991, joining the staff of a local urban ministry, Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship as Director of Youth Ministry.

In 1994, Sadell received a Word from the Lord that freed her from perfectionism and performance orientation, and released her creativity. “..God doesn’t want to have everything perfect in your life, He wants to perfect you, and He perfects us by Grace…These hands are so skillful and so creative. You’re gonna prophesy with these fingers. You’re gonna translate what you see in your mind and you’re gonna put it into pen. You’re gonna take the pictures of your mind and translate them through your fingers. But it’s not gonna be by effort anymore, it’s gonna be just by creative grace…just relax, let the artist in you live!…”

Sadell was serving in the church’s music ministry and went on to be licensed as pastor of the Music, Worship, Arts and Communications Ministries, which grew to 200 members. There she trained children and adults to lead devoted lives of worship and service to the Lord and to minister to Him and to others through their creative gifts.

A friend, Lucreta Bowman, the Director of Having the Courage to Change, a local women’s shelter for formerly incarcerated, drug addicted and disenfranchised women, asked Sadell to write her biography. Lucreta’s story is about how the love and life of God can break through and free a life torn by abuse, abandonment, neglect and bad choices. After 5 terms and 15 years of incarceration, God gave Lucreta another chance at life. “Breaking the Cycle of Self Abuse - The Lucreta Bowman Story,” was released in 2006. It is challenging and changing lives of men and women across the country and around the world.

At nearly the same time Sadell recorded the CD ‘Creative Grace.’ When the songs are sung, people are inspired to create, envision and believe that God had placed His power in their hands to bring into existence what had never been seen or heard before. People have responded to this meditation CD by activating their faith to start businesses, create art, write books, etc.

Sadell travels the country and the world ministering the message of grace.  Through God’s Word in music, preaching, teaching and arts ministry, thousands of men, women and young people have been saved, healed, delivered and set free.
