We are called to help heal what divides the church by addressing difficult subjects like poverty, racial reconciliation, and spiritual drought.
Christ's prayer and desire is that His church be ONE (John 17). We reconcile people first to Jesus Christ, then to themselves and one another. (2 Corinthians 5:14-21)
Addressing these issues is not easy. In fact, it's very messy.
It can only be done by God's GRACE (Divine ability and favor).
Let's tackle the hard stuff.
